Genital aesthetics is the reshaping and the aesthetic and healthy improvement of the female external genital system and the vagina through various surgical procedures and/or supportive applications — such as mesotherapy, filler applications, and the systems used for genital whitening.

An Important Point: Naturalness and Health Come First

The point that must not be forgotten or overlooked is to carefully evaluate the natural physiology and structure and, fundamentally, to take the patient’s health and long-term effects into account. Certain individual differences may exist, and most of the time these are natural and do not cause any problems.

If unnecessary and excessive genital aesthetic procedures are performed on a case that does not require them, the natural protective system of the genital area may be disrupted, the area may become prone to infection, and complications due to incorrect operations may develop. For example, if the vagina is narrowed too much with an advanced procedure in a woman close to menopause — also taking the effects of menopause into account — the procedure may negatively affect the patient’s sexual life or make it painful.

For this reason, the same procedure should not be applied to every patient; treatment must be planned individually, and the patient must be informed in detail.

Surgical Procedures Performed in Genital Aesthetics

Labiaplasty

These are procedures aimed at the labia (lip) areas of the external genital region. Some women may have labial asymmetry, enlargement, or congenital structural differences. In such cases, after informing the patient in detail, non-aggressive aesthetic procedures suitable to the natural anatomy and physiology are performed; the labia can be reduced or reshaped. If needed, additional aesthetic support can be provided with fat injection or filler materials in this area.

Vaginoplasty

Vaginal widening may occur due to structural and tissue differences. This does not happen in every woman or after every birth; however, depending on tissue structure and wear from previous births or procedures, sagging and widening of the vagina may develop. This can negatively affect sexual functions.

Along with vaginal widening, sagging of the bladder or herniation and sagging of the final section of the intestines (the rectal area) toward the vagina may occur. In such cases, in addition to sexual dysfunction, complaints such as urinary incontinence, gas/stool incontinence, or straining may arise.

With well-planned teamwork, the patient can be both aesthetically satisfied and relieved of problems such as urinary incontinence. Here, too, what matters is applying natural, physiology-appropriate, and personalized treatments. The same surgery should not be applied to every patient; procedures should be performed while considering long-term risks and after informing the patient in detail.

Procedures for the Clitoris

The clitoris is an organ developed for pleasure in the female body; it is located in the genital area, above the labia and the urinary opening, beneath a thin fold of skin. In some cases, the surrounding tissue and the thin skin fold covering it may reduce sensitivity and pleasure. In this situation, aesthetic procedures aimed at increasing sensitivity can be performed without harming the main structure.

Tissue rejuvenation and care concept in genital aesthetics

Fat and Filler Injections in the Genital Area

Over time, due to many factors, weakening and sagging of the supporting tissue may occur in a way that impairs the appearance of the genital area. For this, depending on the patient’s characteristics and in a personalized manner, the tissue can be supported — using fat injections taken from the patient’s own body or ready-made filler materials — and improved aesthetically. Here, too, applying a personalized and meticulous treatment is essential.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy involves a kind of “youth vaccine” containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid, injected into the middle layer of the skin. It can be applied to the face, neck, and scalp, as well as to the genital area. It can be used to counteract the effects that develop due to aging, childbirth, external factors, and hormonal changes, and to rejuvenate the tissue.

Careful and meticulous application is important. Positive results such as tissue renewal, whitening, and reduced sensitivity are welcomed with satisfaction by patients.
